Who we are

potholesuk.com ("UK Pothole Pilot", "we", "us") is an independent website based in the United Kingdom. For any privacy question, email contact@potholesuk.com.

The short version

• You don't need an account, and we don't ask for your name, email or any other personal details to play.
• Your best score is stored only on your own device.
• The site shows adverts from Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure those ads, and in the UK and EU we ask for your consent first.

Information stored on your device

The game saves your best score in your browser's local storage so it can show it to you next time. It never leaves your device, we can't see it, and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data for potholesuk.com.

Advertising and cookies

We use Google AdSense to show adverts, which keeps the game free. Specifically:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your previous visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the internet.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider (Hostinger) automatically records basic technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. What we don't do

• We don't run our own analytics or tracking scripts.
• We don't sell personal information.
• We don't collect information through the game itself. Your best score stays on your device.

Because we don't hold accounts or contact details for players, most data relating to ads is held by Google, and you can manage it through the links above. Children

The game is suitable for a general audience. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children, and the site doesn't ask any player for personal details.
